CAT D11000 ENGINE
SER#9J1103 1937 MODEL
This engine was used as a standby unit, for emergency use by
the Water Dept., The City of Nampa, Idaho since it was purchased in 1937. It was
checked, serviced, and test run a couple of times per year, "just in case" it
was ever needed. There are a total of 2541 hours on the hour meter.
Over its lifetime of 70 years, this is an average of about 36 hours and 18 minutes
per year.
It is equipped with the Caterpillar pony motor 6V. Electric Start option and the City
installed their own block heater (120V).
The D11000 is also equipped with 5B1639 Clutch Assembly. Manufactured by Twin Disc
Corp it has a Patent date of 9/13/21.
THIS UNIT WILL BE KEPT TOGETHER AND SOLD COMPLETE.
